ZIGRID AB develops a patented solution for cost-effective and environmentally friendly power generation, initially in modules of 20 kW, by converting water-borne heat to power. The solution works at uniquely low temperatures, down to 50° C, with focus below 90°C where most of the waste heat is found globally. The market focus is initially industrial waste heat where in Europe alone it is estimated to be 150-200 TWh annual waste heat which is technically and economically interesting below 100 ° C. Considering globally high energy prices and high waste heat, the export potential is substantial.
